Port of Auckland Dangerous Goods Fee

Dear Customer

Please be advised from 01 May 2024 Ports of Auckland are introducing a Dangerous Goods (D.G) administration fee for containers moved across Fergusson Container Terminal and  Multi-Cargo wharves.

Pacifica will recover the POAL DG surcharge at $35 per container (subject to GST) effective from the following sailings:

To ensure continued smooth handling,  it is timely to remind shippers of the key mandatory requirements for booking D.G cargo :   

• DG cargo bookings will be issued on stand-alone bookings separately to general cargo bookings.

• ALL DG Certs must be typed (not handwritten) 

• DG Certs to be submitted in PDF format. The PDF file name must be the container number.

• If you have multiple containers, there should be one certificate per container (file named as above).
