Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFSC) – Update
Dear Customer,
Further to our advisory dated 12 March 2026, a further review of the Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFSC) has been undertaken in response to continued escalating global fuel prices , and their impact on bunker costs in New Zealand.
Accordingly, the EFSC will be revised for cargo loaded from 8 April 2026, as outlined below:

Pacifica will continue to review the EFSC on a fortnightly frequency and adjust up or down to maintain alignment with ongoing fuel price movements.
The EFSC remains applicable in addition to the prevailing Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF).
