Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFSC) – Implementation Notice

Dear Valued Customer,

Pacifica Shipping wishes to advise that, in response to the recent and sustained escalation in global bunker fuel prices, an Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFSC) will be implemented.

The EFSC will take effect for cargo loaded from 25 March 2026 as detailed below.

20’ Container    $100.00
40’ Container    $200.00

The EFSC will apply in addition to the prevailing Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) and will be subject to periodic review in line with fuel market developments.

For Pacifica door customers we will update separately regarding changes to FAF (Fuel Adjustment Factor) applicable to trucking and rail rates.
