Since starting with one ship in 1983, Pacifica has grown to meet the domestic transport and freight distribution needs of producers, manufacturers, exporters and freight forwarders.

We are part of the Skeggs Group, www.skeggs.co.nz with a national resource of professional staff with expertise in moving all types of freight by sea, as well as by rail and road.

Our coastal ships provide direct transport links by sea for all types of containerised cargo between Auckland (both Waitemata and Onehunga), Tauranga, New Plymouth, Canterbury and Nelson.

We handle large volumes of international feeder cargo between New Zealand ports.

We also operate trucks and trailers, plus a national distribution centre and coolstore, based in Christchurch.

Working as needed with other freight operators, we ensure that customers with goods to move can rely on reliable, safe and cost-effective transport services.

Ours is a total transport solution combining the environmental advantages of coastal shipping with efficient distribution and door-to-door deliveries by land.
